Financial Information
Our tuition plan is simple ….
The student pays $250 per semester/calendar year.
In other words, for every two semesters of classes, the charge is $250, unless the student takes more than a full calendar year to complete those two semesters.
If a student starts in September and completes 2 semesters by the following May, then wants to start semester 3 in June, the next $250 payment would be due in June. If a student starts in September, but takes longer than a full calendar year to complete two semesters, payments would be structured on an annual basis. This means the next payment would be due in September. In this case, once those two semesters are complete, semester 3 would be available right away without any further payment until the following year.
If a husband and wife are both taking classes at the same time, the couple would pay $400 for both of them. This is a $100 (20%) discount for married couples.
All books, materials and fees are included. There are no additional costs.
How we feel about the finances is summed up in this passage of Scripture…..
2 Samuel 20-24 And Araunah looked, and saw the king and his servants coming on toward him: and Araunah went out, and bowed himself before the king on his face upon the ground. And Araunah said, Wherefore is my lord the king come to his servant? And David said, To buy the threshingfloor of thee, to build an altar unto the LORD, that the plague may be stayed from the people. And Araunah said unto David, Let my lord the king take and offer up what seemeth good unto him: behold, here be oxen for burnt sacrifice, and threshing instruments and other instruments of the oxen for wood. All these things did Araunah, as a king, give unto the king. And Araunah said unto the king, The LORD thy God accept thee. And the king said unto Araunah, Nay; but I will surely buy it of thee at a price: neither will I offer burnt offerings unto the LORD my God of that which doth cost me nothing. So David bought the threshingfloor and the oxen for fifty shekels of silver.
We feel very strongly that getting a good solid Bible education should not cost tens of thousands of dollars. Yet, we are to be “a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God, which is your reasonable service.” (Rom 12:1) Can we therefore offer ourselves unto the Lord for training and expect that it would cost us nothing?
We realize that there are “free” on-line Bible colleges available. We realize that every student has choices. We also feel that what CMBC offers to the student, and to the local church, has value. The flat rate cost of the college, at $250 per year, simply covers the cost of maintaining the database software we use to maintain the online presence of the college. We hope you understand the basis for our charges.
Please note: Once a student has registered and paid, access to the website for the classes is granted and the tuition is non-refundable.
