We call our men’s ministry the iron men. Our desire is that these times of fellowship with do as the Bible says, that we, as men would sharpen one another.
Our Challenge
As with all of our ministries, we want to build people. When our men get together, we open the Bible with words of encouragement. Men and masculinity are under attack in our society, yet the men in the Bible were men as God made them. Jesus was what we would call a man’s Man. He is the example of a man we strive for….Every bit in standing His ground, like iron planted in cement, and every bit loving and compassionate to those in need. Peter, John, Paul, Barnabas and other men in Scripture provide amazing inspirations for us as men today. We learn from their examples and live out God’s truth. When we join together as men, we sharpen each other – as iron sharpeneth iron.

Our Pastor values the men in our church. He sees them as a sounding board in laying out future plans for the ministry and looks for their opinions as to financial and property decisions. Every man have something to contribute and every man can be a difference maker in our ministry. God blesses when our men come together.
