When God looks at us, what kind of people does he see? In Judges 13, the angel of the Lord appears to the parents of Samson. Dad’s name is Manoah. We do not know mom’s name. In Scripture, God gives us any reasons to rejoice. In the New Testament, we know the commands, “rejoice evermore,” and “rejoice in the Lord, always, and again I say, rejoice.” The book of Deuteronomy is just as clear.
